Wonder Pediatric Physical Therapy and Wellness

Wonder is a woman-owned and operated pediatric physical therapy practice providing one-on-one, individualized, and evidence-based patient care. We are locally owned in Austin, Texas and serve families in the greater Austin area. We have an office in Bee Caves and offer in-home concierge visits or teletherapy appointments.

We are currently accepting new patients and are providing timely evaluations and treatment appointments, allowing families to address and facilitate posture, strength, and symmetry so their babies begin to grow and thrive in their earliest months of life.

Dr. Amreen Ali, PT, DPT, PCS

Amreen is a board certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist and has worked exclusively with children and their families in acute and outpatient settings over the last 7+ years. She received her clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Texas El Paso in 2015 and specializes in treating infants with torticollis, plagiocephaly and gross motor delays.

Before starting her own pediatric physical therapy practice, Amreen has experience treating babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) providing quality therapy services to term, pre-term and high-risk infants with diagnoses such as developmental delays and feeding complications. She brings the diagnostic skills she cultivated in the NICU by conducting screening assessments and detailed physical therapy evaluations to each case and family she works with.

Today, Amreen stays up to date with the latest, innovative methodologies and Continuing Education classes so she can provide her patients with the highest level of care. In her spare time, Amreen likes to paint, spend time with family and friends, travel, and garden.

She strives to improve her skill and understanding of infant treatment by consistently taking continuing education courses including most recently courses for the treatment of torticollis and plagiocephaly, whole body treatment and considerations of the pre-crawling infant, kinesiotaping - pediatric specialty, assessment and treatment of the baby NDT course, and intro into DIR floortime.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and their dogs, reading, exploring different areas of art and creative projects, home improvement projects, taking care of her jungle of indoor plants, exploring new restaurants in Austin with friends, and spending time on the outdoors and on the lake!
